World Water Day
The world day devoted to water and sustainable development

Since 1993, World Water Day has been celebrated annually on 22 March. Declared by the United Nations, this day serves to highlight the importance of fresh water and its sustainable development. World Water Day focuses on a different water-related aspect each year. In 2018, the theme chosen is "Nature for Water".
Institutions, non-governmental organizations and committed and responsible companies hold activities related to this day in order to raise public awareness, disseminate documentaries, organize talks and hold public events related to the protection of water resources.
